Unique for Carolyn Park is our
Think-It Link-It Computer Lab!

    The students of Carolyn Park Middle School are building a foundation of computer skills in word processing, Internet usage, keyboarding, and digital presentations. This type of class is very unique for the middle school setting and we are very excited to provide this opportunity to place the students on an advanced path in computer literacy.

    Ms. Bogran is the certified computer teacher working in the lab and with the homeroom teachers to bring technology into the educational instruction of the students at Carolyn Park Middle School. 

Internet safety is an important topic addressed at CPMS. We use the
I-SAFE curriculum to discuss topics like:

Responsible CyberCitizenship
Personal Safety
The Computer Virius
Plagiarism & Downloading
Law Enforcement

Type to Learn 3
is the software program we are using in the lab for keyboarding. This program provides age appropriate lessons to teach the basics of typing while teaching fun, interesting facts about Social Studies, Science, and Literature as a reward for their aquired skills.
